Custom Coloring Service

This service covers custom color work we’ve discussed and agreed upon prior to checkout. Your wig will be professionally colored based on the plan we’ve finalized together.

• Toning and glossing to refine the final result
• Wash, conditioning treatment, and restyling
• Return shipping

Please send the wig and a note with your name on it in a zip-lock bag, inside a padded envelope. It is highly advisable to purchase shipping with tracking and insurance.

What You Agree To Before Purchasing

By completing this purchase, you acknowledge that:

• We have already discussed and agreed upon the general color direction, tone, and placement for this service.
• Final results will reflect the agreed-upon direction, but exact replication of reference photos is not guaranteed due to variations in starting color, hair behavior, and how the hair lifts.
• All color work is performed with the integrity of the hair as the top priority. This may require adjusting lift, tone, or placement during the process.
• Human hair—especially previously colored or factory-processed hair—can respond unpredictably to lightening and toning. Subtle variations in tone or dimension are normal.
• This service does not include full color transformations unless explicitly discussed and approved in advance.
• Any wig that undergoes color services becomes final sale. Once the hair has been processed, the piece cannot be returned or exchanged.
• Timing and turnaround will be communicated prior to work beginning.

Important Notes

• Coloring services are only available for wigs purchased through Prairie Fire Hair.
• Typical turnaround is approximately 2 weeks, depending on the scope of work.
• If anything requires clarification, you will be contacted before any work begins.
