About Second Blooms Wigs

Every Second Blooms wig has been personally sourced and purchased directly from the owners or consigned. They are carefully evaluated for quality and condition. Each piece, unless brand new, is cleaned, conditioned, and sanitized, with restorative work done as needed to ensure she’s ready for a beautiful second life.

• Color: 12fs8 shaded praline | Shaded root with dark brown (color 8) with equal colors of light golden brown (color 12), blends of light golden blonde (color 24B) and pale natural blonde (color 102). Warm Tone.

• Cap Construction: Fully hand-tied, monofilament top, pre-cut lace front, velvet ear tabs and nape with metal stays, velcro nape size adjusters

• Hair Type: Remy human hair with a 50/50 blend of Chinese and Indian hair

• Lace is cut to the hairline, and there is some rippling, which causes the lace not to lie flat. The lace can be blocked, a simple process of stretching and pinning the wig onto a block so the lace dries flat and removes ripples.
• Knots are not bleached

• This wig is in great condition! The owner states that the wig was worn 15 to 30 times, washed 4 to 8 times, and purchased in 2024 brand new.

Care Tips

To keep your piece looking its best, always detangle gently before washing and use salon-grade, sulfate-free products. Wash only as needed, and avoid soaking the lace top—wet hand-tied knots can swell and loosen over time. After washing, carefully blot the cap with a towel and use a blow dryer on low heat to fully dry the inside of the cap. This helps preserve the integrity of the knots and minimizes shedding. Be gentle when brushing or styling, and avoid scrubbing or twisting at the root. Store your wig on a stand to help maintain its shape and prevent tangling. For long-term storage, place the wig in the protective bag.
