Brushing or combing the curls while dry will disrupt the curl formation, leading to frizz and a loss of definition. This is normal behavior for curly human hair and is not considered a product defect.

Due to packaging and transit, the curl pattern may be disturbed upon arrival. Mist the hair with water only, gently scrunch the curls upward, and let the wig air-dry. This process will help the curls return to their natural formation and allow you to properly assess the wig’s true texture and definition.

To maintain the curl pattern long term, refresh with a light curl cream for definition and use a small amount of hair oil to soften and add shine. Regular moisturizing will help preserve softness, elasticity, and overall hair integrity.

Care Tips

To keep your piece looking its best, always detangle gently before washing and use salon-grade, sulfate-free products. Wash only as needed, and avoid soaking the lace top—wet hand-tied knots can swell and loosen over time. After washing, carefully blot the cap with a towel and use a blow dryer on low heat to fully dry the inside of the cap. This helps preserve the integrity of the knots and minimizes shedding. Be gentle when brushing or styling, and avoid scrubbing or twisting at the root. Store your wig on a stand to help maintain its shape and prevent tangling. For long-term storage, place the wig in the protective bag.
