How Consignment Works

1. Submit Your Wig Details

Start by completing our Second Blooms Consignment Form.

2. Ship It In

If approved, you’ll ship your wig via a trackable, insured method. The address will be provided when we confirm all the details with you via email.

Please include:

• Each wig in a clean zip bag (no original boxes or accessories)
• A note with:
  • Your full name
  • Email address used for communication
  • PayPal email address

While we take great care of all wigs in our dedicated studio space, Prairie Fire Hair is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit to us.

3. Professional Preparation & Listing

All pre-owned wigs (unless brand new) receive a complimentary cleansing and conditioning service before being listed.

If we determine that washing or styling would compromise the integrity of the wig, we will return it to you.

Your wig will then be:

• Professionally photographed
• Listed on our website
• Promoted through our social channels and email community

Listings go live on or around the 15th of the month and remain active for at least 120 days.

You choose your asking price. A $25 shipping and handling charge is added to the buyer’s purchase price to help cover the costs associated with fulfilling and shipping the sale.

You may request price adjustments at any time. We may also reach out with pricing recommendations based on market response.

4. You Get Paid

When your wig sells:

• The buyer has a 2-day return window.
• Once that window closes, your payout is issued within 5 business days.
• A $25 shipping and handling fee is deducted from the sale proceeds before commission is calculated.
• Prairie Fire Hair retains an 18% commission on the remaining amount, and you receive the balance.

Example: If your asking price is $1,200, your payout is calculated as follows:

$1,200 − $25 shipping & handling = $1,175
$1,175 × 82% = $963.50 payout

Early Returns

Your wig remains listed for at least 120 days.

If you would like your wig returned before that period ends:

• A $75 early return fee applies
• Return shipping costs will also apply

After 120 days, if your wig has not sold, Prairie Fire Hair covers return shipping.

A Few Important Notes

• $500 minimum listing price required
• Only authentic human hair wigs are accepted
• We reserve the right to decline any submission
• Consignment wigs must be accurately represented in the submission form
